You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Subtell, you confirm you meet this requirement. The Service is not available to users who have been previously suspended or banned.

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful registration information
• Keep your password secure and not share account access
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at hello@subtell.app
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Subtell to analyse text for personal insight, research, education, and professional purposes where you have the right to process the content.

4.2 Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to process
• Harass, stalk, monitor, or surveil another person without their knowledge or consent in circumstances where such monitoring is unlawful
• Upload illegal content, including content obtained through unlawful interception
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt the Service infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit content, including content involving third parties. We do not review submitted content and are not responsible for its legality or accuracy.

We do not use your submitted content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Subtell offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are subject to the following:

• Fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

All software, design, branding, and content comprising the Service is owned by or licensed to Subtell. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Analysis reports generated by the Service based on your submitted content are yours to use. The underlying analysis methodology and software remain our intellectual property.

The Service is provided as-is and as-available without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Analysis outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
• The Service will meet your specific requirements

Subtell is a linguistic analysis tool, not a clinical instrument. Outputs should not be used as the sole basis for decisions affecting health, safety, legal proceedings, or relationships. Always seek qualified professional advice for serious matters.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Subtell and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or reputation
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Actions you take based on analysis outputs

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GBP 50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Subtell from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@subtell.ai. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the Service or other users.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where possible. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Subtell regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
